GGW Best Friends Alert! Kate Henshaw and Yibo Koko :)

Last year, we introduced the GGW best friends series - where we feature top socialites and their best friends. Life is all about celebrating friendship, friendship is one of the bonds that holds us together.     

For this week's GGW Best Friends Alert, we bring you Movie star Kate Henshaw and Comedian Yibo koko. She calls him "Yibo dear" while he simply calls her "Kate".

P.S some are suggesting the relationship between the actors goes beyond being NGT judges but the truth is they are just BFFs.
 
They have been best friends for over a year now; they are both judges on the on-going second season of Nigeria’s Got Talent, alongside On-Air-Personality, Dan Foster.

Ever since they met on the show, there has been a chemistry between them but nothing more...Kate is a single mother of one while Yibo is a happy father of three!

Yibo is happily married with three lovely children - oh by the way Kate says his kids are so adorable, they call her 'Aunty Kate'!

Yibo says "Kate is a wonderful person, a god judge at that too. She knows how to handle her emotions during the NGT. She cries, She gets angry and she laughs, She is damn good"
They are not the kind of friends that keep in touch everyday (especially after every NGT season), sometimes they don't talk for weeks but when they do, it's like they never stopped talking.
 
Yibo is based in Port Harcourt, while Kate shuffles between Lagos and Abuja!

 

Meanwhile, in a not-so-recent interview with NET, Kate who broke up with her husband (a white man) years ago, says she's single and ready to mingle.

 

 "I have so much that I want to do. I have no time to be wallowing in self pity. Marriage does not define who I am, neither does it define anybody. I don’t have anything against love. I want to love again, after all, God gave us his son to love us."
